Wicket Doors and Side Doors

For separating pedestrian and goods traffic. Alpha Deuren offer fixed wicket doors next to the sectional door or integrated wicket doors if the space available cannot accomodate this.

Fixed Wicket Doors

The advantage of a fixed wicket door is that it completely separates pedestrian and goods traffic, enhancing the safety, usability, and stability of the sectional door. It also offers the benefit of reduced energy loss, as

the entire sectional door does not need to be opened. A fixed wicket door is installed in the facade next to the sectional door, with the same filling and panel structure as the sectional door’s top panel. This creates a

cohesive, architecturally and aesthetically pleasing solution. The connection between the sections of an ALU 60 door is wind and

watertight.

Integrated Wicket Doors

If  your building cannot accommodate a fixed pedestrian door in the facade, Alpha Deuren can integrate a pedestrian door directly into the sectional door. The updated integrated pedestrian door offers a seamless fit with continuous seals and is easier to install due to adjustable hinges, allowing for precise adjustments over time. Additionally, the pedestrian door panels can be replaced during maintenance without needing to reinstall the entire door. The new pedestrian door is available with thresholds of 14.5 mm, 95 mm, and 185 mm.

The Alpha Deuren wicket door lock range includes six lock types: two standard locks and four panic locks, designed for use when the wicket door functions as an emergency exit.
